I’m a guy, in an apartment, and I’m wanting to paint my living room. Right now, it looks like a sanitarium. White walls, white mini-blinds, beige carpet, beige couch, beige fireplace. I’m tired of white/beige, need to add some color. Suggestions? No girly colors, please.

Very Typical 70’s looking raised ranch with brick for bottom half. Has really wide masonite siding making it even more dated. My house is taupe siding on the top and reddish-orange brick on the bottom. The trim is taupe and the shutters/front door is dark green. The roof is dark brown, but that will be done in taupe shingles in a few years. The windows are white. Here is a photo:http://www.moveinmichigan.com/Searchdeta…
